Magnificat’s Bible Study, Woman Called By Name, holds the Nihil Obstat from Dr. Nathan Eubanks and the Imprimatur from Archbishop Gregory Aymond of the ministry’s home Archdiocese of New Orleans. It is a scripture study of women in the Bible including ten Old Testament and ten New Testament lessons.

Each lesson in the participant workbook includes scripture readings, reflection questions, and space for notes and prayer requests. With the facilitator set, each lesson has a 15-20 minute teaching video DVD that describes the historical context and significance of the scriptures as well as how they are applicable in our current day. The facilitator set also contains a music CD with 20 songs complementing each lesson as well as facilitator notes, DVD transcripts, and answers to the reflection questions.

The ten Old Testament lessons: Creation of Woman, Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel & Leah, Deborah & Jael, Hannah, Judith, Esther, Jezebel, The Worthy Wife.

This Scripture study was inspired by the Holy Spirit, written by Judy Zelden, and holds the Imprimatur from Most Reverend Gregory Aymond, D.D., Archbishop of New Orleans. This Zoom webinar will be live, weekly on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. central time beginning January 20, 2022, with a holiday break. The cost of $20 for the 21 Webinar sessions includes a PDF of the Participant Workbook (downloadable directly to your device) with the Introduction, twenty lessons, Scripture readings, and reflection questions.
