These are exciting times that we live in and Magnificat was begun in 1981 for such a time as this. There are now over 100 chapters throughout the United States and its territories and in many foreign countries.

Guest Speaker: Jackie France – Central Service Team Historian
Jackie was born and raised Catholic in a small rural town in Indiana. The middle of five siblings, her childhood was spent in the safety of an intact ecumenical family. She was a “good” girl. It wasn’t until going to the large state university in the notorious sixties that her rebellion and intellectual conceit emerged and began to flourish. Shortly after graduating from college, she married outside the Church. Using the suffering of that mismatched relationship, God began to draw her to Him personally in fellowship with other women seeking Christ especially in scripture. When the marriage failed, she again married outside the Church. Yet, God mercifully led her to healing, marriage in the Church and many blessings that have continued to come through fellowship, scripture, prayer, and the sacraments. Now as a widow, Jackie is personally experiencing the strength and peace that comes from knowing the Lord as her Bridegroom. God has used Jackie’s sins and their consequences, her failures and successes, and everything in her life to form her for His purposes in her family, parish, prayer groups, and Magnificat: A Ministry to Catholic Women. Come hear the latest in God’s mercy to Jackie in her life of “Religion, Rebellion, Relationship and Renewal” as it continues to unfold.
Magnificat Prayer Teams and Confessions will be available after the meal.
Since the day is designed to speak to the hearts of women, free of distractions, it is respectfully requested that young children not be in attendance.
