These are exciting times that we live in and Magnificat was begun in 1981 for such a time as this. There are now over 100 chapters throughout the United States and its territories and in many foreign countries.

Guest Speaker: Diane Bates
Diane Bates is the wife of Deacon Tom Bates, mother of three children, and grandmother of three. She has a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry and worked in Research and Development at Abbott Laboratories for 17 years. Now she works only for her family and the Lord. She was a founding member of the Magnificat Chapter in Grapevine, TX. She has also served as the Magnificat South Central Regional Representative, Diocesan Leader in Schoenstatt, a Marian Apostolic Movement in the Catholic Church, and on the Magnificat Central Service Team that oversees all of the ministry’s Chapters worldwide. She currently leads a Prayer Group and teaches religious education. Her testimony, titled “A New Creation,” has aired on EWTN radio and Women of Grace television and radio. Diane is a contributing author to the books, “Magnificat Proclaims, A Collection of 19 Inspiring Testimonies” and “The Rosary, Your Weapon for Spiritual Warfare.” She tells the tender love story of how, through the intercession of Our Lady, God changed her through several lesson plans, especially when she learns that her youngest son is autistic. She describes how the Lord has taken scripture verses and seared them into her soul through difficult experiences. Come hear how God transformed Diane with each lesson plan and continues to transform her into His new creation.
Magnificat Prayer Teams and Confessions will be available after the meal.
Since the day is designed to speak to the hearts of women, free of distractions, it is respectfully requested that young children not be in attendance.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations to the Prayer Meal are $30.00. Cost of Reservation goes up to $35.00 per Person on Wednesday February 19th.
