With 53 Seven Sisters Groups in the Nashville Diocese, we welcome the Foundress of this ministry
Guest Speaker: Janette Howe

Janette Howe was raised and educated in a solid Catholic family. Her college years, followed by the demands of daily work life and the sudden loss of her father, gradually drew her away from the practice of her Faith. Janette experienced a singular grace in the presence of Our Eucharistic Lord which jolted her to pursue a path of inquiry, then an eventual return to the sacramental life of the Catholic Church. Her heart was fully captured by authentic beauty, goodness and truth Himself. Janette was moved to believe that if each person becomes aware of the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Eucharist, each would be converted – and the world with it.
Janette has initiated two apostolates: Truth Himself, founded in the 2004-05 Year of the Eucharist, which aims to cultivate knowledge, love and service of the Eucharistic Lord. And, 2010 unbeknownst to anyone, Janette began to more intentionally pray for her pastor through offering a weekly Holy Hour. Within roughly nine months, an inspiration was received during prayer which broadened the idea to include others in this Holy Hour. In 2011, Seven Sisters Apostolate was initiated whose mission is seamless daily dedicated Holy Hours for priests through groups of seven (at least) intercessors. Its practice now has a widening international influence. Only in the tender and generous love of God would Janette’s family be blessed with a son called to the altar as a priest in 2013.
Janette is a registered nurse and holds a master’s degree in theological studies from Ave Maria University. Please join us to hear more about Janette’s journey and the Seven Sisters Apostolate.

History of Our Lady of Good Success Chapter
“Hallelujah! Sing to the Lord a new song, a song of praise in the assembly of the faithful.”(Ps: 149:1) We are now ‘officially’ the Magnificat Chapter of Nashville, TN; our local name is Our Lady of Good Success. This journey to form a Magnificat Chapter in the Diocese of Nashville, TN began in June 2021 with the approval of Bishop Mark Spalding. With over 100 Magnificat Chapters in the world, Magnificat exists to evangelize and encourage Catholic Christian women in holiness by opening more fully to the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit. As our Blessed Mother brought our Eucharistic Lord in the Visitation, so too, will she as the Spouse of the Holy Spirit, bring her children into the fullness of life in our Crucified Christ’s Love and Mercy, Joy and Peace.
My Service team and I are so looking forward to seeing you at our next Magnificat Meal ~ Rosemary, Coordinator
