GUEST SPEAKER … ROBYN GAGNON … Raised in Cumberland, RI, Robyn’s story is one of perseverance, service, and lifelong growth. She is the youngest of six children and while in community college, she answered the call to serve by joining the U.S. Navy, an experience that strengthened her resilience, discipline, and leadership.  In 2002, she later returned to CCRI and earned her Associate Degree in Nursing. Robyn began this career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the very hospital she was born — a full circle moment that marked the beginning of her lifelong commitment to caring for the most vulnerable patients and their families as she continues to serve there today.  During Robyn’s early years, there was much suffering and many trials she encountered. Feelings of rejection, abandonment, and anxiety due to her lifestyle led her Catholic faith to be greatly tested. Through much prayer and intercession with our Mother Mary, Queen of Peace, something miraculous occurred. She surrendered and recommitted herself to Jesus and the Sacraments, which changed her life. She will be sharing this amazing story. Driven by passion for excellence, she went on to earn her Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate in Nursing.  Alongside her professional journey, her faith has flourished and became a guiding force in her life. She is currently in formation to become a Third Order Carmelite, deepening her spiritual commitment to service, prayer, and community. She is also the proud parent of 17‑year‑old twins and a communicant of St. Timothy’s Church in Warwick.  Robyn’s journey is a testament to perseverance, faith, and courage to continually answer the call to serve.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23

Her great sense of humor and warm smile will encourage you to continue to pray for others, believing “Nothing is impossible for God.” — Luke 1:37
