LOCATION: Gianilli’s II Restaurant

Our Guest Speaker: Mary McCormack
“Worship to me is spiritual intimacy with God,” says Mary McCormack, who will be speaking at the July 26 Magnificat breakfast. “Anything in which we get to know who God is better and better through prayer, Christ-centered music, dance, art, gardening, playing with your kids, sharing liturgy and Eucharistic adoration . . . anything that takes us out of ourselves and into the unobstructed flow of the Holy Spirit,”
In 2025, Mary has been a guest on Radio Maria International and St. Emma’s Monastery, presenting Beauty from Ashes: The Year of Jubilee and The Blessed Virgin Mary from Genesis to Revelation. As director of Alabaster Performing Arts, a Christ-centered non-profit, she has been touring in 2025 with Beauty for Ashes Worship Concert, America the Beautiful Concert and Jonah and The Whale, a scripture musical comedy.
Mary regularly brings worship concerts to state and federal prisons and teaches music and leadership with Alabaster’s Youth Division. She has done missionary work in Central America, Jamaica and in under-served areas across the United States. She has been a guest of CBS Nightly News, Rwanda Embassy, Washington D.C., American Embassy in Honduras, Metropolitan Opera House, NYC, Perdue University, West Virginia University, Seton Hill University, St. Vincent Basilica, Latrobe and many theatres, churches and festivals across the United States.
Mary holds a Master’s degree in Music from Duquesne University, a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Seton Hill University and has done graduate work at Indiana University School of Music, Bloomington, IN.
Author of Living the Lazarus Life and The Power of Choice for Teens, Mary has taught workshops on chastity, drug & alcohol prevention and bullying prevention in school districts across the eastern U.S. and in the dioceses of Pittsburgh, Greensburg, Altoona-Johnstown, Cleveland, Miami-Dade, Denver and beyond.
“I love performing and teaching both children and adults!” she says. Mary lives in Greensburg and is a member of St. Bruno Parish. She welcomes visitors to her YouTube Chanel Mary McCormack, Greensburg, PA and website www.AlabasterPerformingArts.org
