Testimonies of HOPE from Eileen Benthal and Marianna Garcia,
Our Spiritual Advisor, Fr. Roy Tvirdik has graciously offered to say First Saturday Mass before the breakfast at Sts Peter and Paul Church, which is just five minutes from Rock Hill Country Club, our beautiful venue for the Fall Breakfast.
This breakfast will help us prepare for the Jubilee Year of HOPE by hearing testimonies of HOPE from Eileen Benthal and Marianna Garcia, Magnificat core team members who met through Magnificat. The two are Godmother and daughter, respectively, and over the last three years have been serving together on the Magnificat team.
We will spend even more time in worship, praying to heal our hearts, our families, and our nation to receive this precious virtue- especially during the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of HOPE!

History of Mary Undoer of Knots Chapter
Magnificat Suffolk County- Our Lady Undoer of Knots, began with a dream over 25 years ago and became an official Chapter in 2016. Over the years, through attending the Nassau County Magnificat events and some of the conferences in New Orleans and Washington, DC, a Suffolk County Chapter finally came together with a group of faith filled women with complimentary gifts and zeal for the Holy Spirit. Our Chapter was formed to officially move us into the phase of formation. During this time, we gathered women to pray at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Island in Manorville, NY, run by the Montfort Fathers. We called ourselves, “Heart and Hands”, praying to serve God’s women with Mary’s heart and Martha’s hands. (cf. Luke 10:38-42)
We hosted breakfasts as a prayer group and enjoyed gathering together in prayer and praise. In the summer of 2016, one of our members and her daughter, made a cross country trip from New York to California- visiting churches, Holy Doors of Mercy, and praying the rosary and the Divine Mercy chaplet daily for our church, our nation, and especially for our Magnificat Chapter. On that pilgrimage a beautiful icon was found of the Visitation in a Byzantine Church in Illinois. When I contacted the artist, she told me that she had a hand-painted icon of the Visitation that was just being released from a museum. She was happy to share it with us. Our core team took the icon as a sign from Our Blessed Mother that soon our chapter would be official! We pray that you will consider becoming involved in Magnificat to partner with us in this ministry. May our souls unite with the prayer of Mary’s heart as we sing; “My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior! For He who is mighty has done great things and HOLY IS HIS NAME!” (Luke 1:46,49).
