We welcome you to the webpage of Our Lady of Miracles Chapter in Las Vegas, Nevada. These are exciting times that we live in, and Magnificat began in 1981 for such a time as this. There are now over 100 Chapters throughout the United States and its territories and in many foreign countries.

Magnificat is an international women’s ministry sanctioned in 2022 by Archbishop George Leo Thomas, Ph.D., to serve in the Archdiocese of Las Vegas.

Guest Speaker: Fr. Jacob Knee

Fr. Jacob Knee was born in the north of England and attended the London School of Economics. He came to faith while at university and prepared for ordination as a minister in the Church of England at Oxford University. He served 25 years as a presbyter in the Church of England and the Episcopal Church.

Fr. Knee “converted” to the Catholic Church in 2017 and, after preparing for Ordination as a Catholic Priest, was the first priest ordained in the new Archdiocese of Las Vegas in 2023 by Archbishop George Leo Thomas.

He is married to Susan and has three children in their 20s. He serves as the Chaplain of Bishop Gorman High School and the Director of Campus Ministry.

Registration will be at 8:15am with event starting at 9am.

Cost of the Breakfast Meal:  $45.

Tickets for priests, deacons, religious brothers and sisters are complimentary but you MUST register by using either the On-line or Mail-in Form.

Hotel Accommodations

Individuals who wish to make hotel accommodations can receive a special group rate by calling the South Point at 866-791-7626 and identify yourself as being with “Magnificat Meal”. South Point offers a reduced room rate of $109. per night (single/dbl occupancy) plus a reduced resort fee.

Prayer Teams

Prayer teams are available following the Meal.
Since the day is designed to speak to the hearts of women, free of distractions, it is respectfully requested that young children not be in attendance

Magnificat is an international women’s ministry sanctioned in 2022 by Archbishop George Leo Thomas, Ph.D., to serve in the Archdiocese of Las Vegas.

Thank you Archbishop George Leo Thomas for your approval and spiritual support of this new and spirit filled women’s ministry.  We are also very thankful to all those who have prayed, fasted and sacrificed for the establishment of the Las Vegas Magnificat Chapter for 15 years!  It truly is a miracle!  Our Chapter’s Marian Name: Our Lady of Miracles   Please all continue to pray for us!
