We welcome you to the webpage of the West St. Tammany/Mandeville Chapter of Magnificat in Louisiana. These are exciting times that we live in and Magnificat was begun in 1981 for such as time as this. Our Past Guest Speaker: Kelle Serio

Kelle Serio grew up in a loving family and planned for a “normal” life of getting married young, having a large family of her own and living near her relatives. However, Jesus took her on an unexpected adventure and showed her that her true home is Himself in the Eucharist and that her fulfillment as bride and mother is in Him. Kelle spent 4 years in Washington D.C. as a speech therapist, followed by 4 years in the convent. Through many life circumstances, Kelle often thought, “How did I get here? It wasn’t supposed to be this way!”

Her testimony gives witness to the Lord’s faithfulness int he darkness when the path is unfamiliar and unclear. Kelle is a single woman and continues to be open to her vocation. In the waiting, she lives a fulfilled life with Jesus at the center of her life, as Savior, lover, and life coach. The battle is believing who He says you are in His eyes. In the Eucharist, she knows she is seen, known, and loved. She loves her family and adores her 12 nieces and nephews. Kelle currently works in ministry at Mary, Queen of Peace Church.
