We welcome you to the webpage of Our Lady of Glory Chapter of Magnificat in Shreveport / Bossier City / North West Louisiana (NOWELA). These are exciting times that we live in and Magnificat was begun in 1981 for such a time as this. There are now over 100 chapters throughout the United States and its territories and in many foreign countries.

SPEAKER:  Rev. Gabriel Cisneros Campos

Fr. Gabriel is one of the newest priests in the Diocese, being ordained to the Priesthood June 24, 2023. Father was immediately assigned to St. Joseph’s as the Associate Pastor. His journey to become a priest has not been without challenges along the way. He was 30 years old before he accepted an invitation from the Director of Religion to attend courses on preparation of the sacraments. While attending courses, he met St. Martin de Porres through watching a film. The saint’s humility and love for Jesus captivated him and he adopted him as his Patron Saint, who helped him meet Jesus.

Come hear fathers’ story and be inspired. Men and women are welcome to attend.

Personal Prayer ministry is available after the meal.

Since the day is designed to speak to the hearts of women, free of distractions, it is respectfully requested that young children under the age of 14 not be in attendance.

Reservations for the prayer brunch are $20.00.

Rosary Blanket of Prayer

Remember our chapter’s commitment to Eucharistic Adoration and to pray the Rosary on the 30th of each month for the intentions of Magnificat, Sanctity of Life, Marriage and Family, and World Peace.

Events Between Meals

Is God calling you to be in a Prayer Group? Jesus said “Wherever two or three are gathered in My Name, there I am in their midst.” Our prayer groups are open to all.
