We welcome you to the webpage of Our Lady of Glory Chapter of Magnificat in Shreveport / Bossier City / North West Louisiana (NOWELA). These are exciting times that we live in and Magnificat was begun in 1981 for such a time as this. There are now over 100 chapters throughout the United States and its territories and in many foreign countries.

SPEAKER: Chris Tison
Chris lives in Shreveport with her husband, Tim. She feels her presence on earth today is a miracle. She knows now that she is supposed to share her story with others. Last year, she was given a 40% chance of surviving surgery and after surgery was given a 40% chance of living. Tim was told to make her funeral arrangements. By the grace of God and intercession of Our Blessed Mother, she is alive today. God is not ready for her yet!
Chris is wounded and her childhood was painful, but God’s blessings and grace were extended. She knows the love of the Father, and his son, Jesus and found peace through the Holy Spirit. Her faith has made her strong and her relationship with Mary and the Trinity have helped her overcome abuse, hatred, and even death. Her mission, and our mission, is to bring others to Jesus. Hopefully, her testimony along with His grace will bring you one step closer to the love of Mary and the Holy Trinity.

Personal Prayer ministry is available after the meal.
Since the day is designed to speak to the hearts of women, free of distractions, it is respectfully requested that young children under the age of 14 not be in attendance.

Reservations for the prayer brunch are $20.00.
