We welcome you to the webpage of Mary Mother of Mercy and Hope Chapter of Magnificat in Tallahassee, Florida. Magnificat, an international ministry to Catholic women, began in 1981 for such a time as this. There are now over 100 chapters throughout the United States and its territories and in many foreign countries.

John 1:5 the light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.

Terry and her husband Richard were married in the Catholic Church in 1996. Terry converted to Catholicism in 2001. She later attended a Christ Renews His Parish weekend and experienced the healing love of God in a powerful way. Things started changing in her life. She got involved in her parish and joined the Magnificat ministry serving in several positions. Healing has been an on-going journey and Terry loves to share the miraculous ways God is working in her life.

Join us for brunch, fellowship, praise & worship music, intercessory prayer and Terry’s powerful and inspirational testimony.

Rosary Blanket of Prayer

Our Chapter is assigned the 18th of the month.
The Magnificat Ministry sponsors a Rosary Blanket of Prayer in response to our Holy Father’s call to prayer. Each Chapter is assigned one day of the month for concentrated prayer, fasting, Eucharistic Adoration, Rosary, etc. Of course, we are called to pray daily, but this day should be especially designated. It can be done individually and collectively, as possible. Magnificat women and others who care to join us are invited to take part in this concerted effort. The general intentions are for a New Pentecost, the Church, Magnificat, the sanctity of life, marriage & family, and world peace.
