About Our Speaker: Yvette Helfers

“But see first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”      Matthew 6:33

Yvette Helfers is a cradle Catholic and a native of San Diego. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Kevin, who is a Deacon in the Diocese of San Diego. They have six children and one grandchild and a granddaughter due in August.

As a toddler Yvette was pronounced dead but by the grace of God was given a second chance at life. Subsequently at the age of 10,she experienced the tragic loss of her father which bore much pain. Although there was much suffering from this tragedy she always knew God was with her. The Blessed Mother and St. Padre Pio have played special roles in her life of faith and miracles. She has experienced the power of heavenly intercession which has changed the course of her life.

You will find Yvette home schooling their two youngest children, enjoying a good laugh, cooking something savory, or spending time with her family at home. She hopes to share with you what she has learned through her trials in life, to trust the Lord with all your life, heart and soul. Yvette has come to know with much fervor, that the Lord’s perfect plan far outweighs our own.

Please pray with us as the Ministry continues to bring women to Jesus and the Catholic Church through Mary and the Holy Spirit. Magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name together. Psalm 34:4

Rosary Blanket of Prayer

Our Chapter is assigned the 11th of the month.
The Magnificat Ministry sponsors a Rosary Blanket of Prayer in response to our Holy Father’s call to prayer. Each Chapter is assigned one day of the month for concentrated prayer, fasting, Eucharistic Adoration, Rosary, etc. Of course, we are called to pray daily, but this day should be especially designated. It can be done individually and collectively, as possible. Magnificat women and others who care to join us are invited to take part in this concerted effort. The general intentions are for a New Pentecost, the Church, Magnificat, the sanctity of life, marriage & family, and world peace.

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my savior. Luke 1:46-47
