These are exciting times that we live in and Magnificat was begun in 1981 for such a time as this. There are now over 100 Chapters throughout the United States and territories and in many foreign countries.

Angela Timmins has served Magnificat, as Secretary of the Vancouver, Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapter, since 2019. She was drawn to this Ministry because of its devotion to Mary, the mother of Jesus. Angela will share her testimony of God’s work in her life and how she developed a devotion to the Virgin Mary. Angela will also share how she experienced a powerful life changing conversion during a retreat as a teenager.

Angela embodies Magnificat Spirituality in all her endeavors. Luke 1:39-40 inspires Angela to reach out with haste to those who are in need. She currently serves as a lector and volunteers with the Migrant Ministry at Sacred Heart Parish in Ladner. She taught in the PREP Program for 10 years. She lives in Ladner with her husband of 42 years. They have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Angela is
retired and enjoys keeping a home and garden as well as boating in the Gulf Islands with her husband, Peter.

History of Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapter of Magnificat

The Holy Spirit has been forming and guiding this group each step of the way in miraculous ways. It has been a long process but God’s Holy Timing is perfect. Magnificat Vancouver  hosted their first Magnificat meal on May 12, 2018.
