OUR GUEST SPEAKER: ALEXIS CHRISTOPHER

My name is Alexis Kiser Christopher. I was born in Winchester, Massachusetts, where I spent most of my childhood. I am the oldest of five children and was raised by two wild parents although they were Catholics. I was a cradle Catholic and was baptized at one month old.

My high school years were tough as I had a rough relationship with my mom, both mental and physical. The only good thing is I experienced a miraculous healing from an illness and from then on I felt my relationship with Jesus was real and beneficial.

I attended the Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio. I had many wonderful experiences while I was there. At age 21, in adoration, I got “my orders” that I was to be an actress and being obedient I did just that. I attended the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.

In 2023 I got married to a wonderful man and have a step daughter and 2 step grandchildren. I am currently doing a little acting as I have been diagnosed with Pulmonary Sarcoidosis which affects many of my organs causing pain, extreme fatigue, migraines, vomiting and other symptoms. This has made me one of the most (what I consider) useless human beings in life. But I found in all this pain and suffering, this is the greatest gift from God. It has helped me be more humble and helped me use my pain and suffering as a prayer!
