OUR GUEST SPEAKER: Linda O’Donnell

Linda O’Donnell’s story is one of adversity and how the adversity in her life has shaped her and made her a stronger, better person. Linda strives today to try to be in tune with God’s will and to better hear his voice.  Her top priority in her decisions and in living her daily life is to follow Our Lord and to please Him the best that she can in all she thinks, does and says.

Linda is an average person with average experiences- all except one: her walk with Jesus.  He is the jewel in her life.

She was born number 3 in a family of 6 children, to a loving Catholic mom and dad. They lived on a small farm in rural central Minnesota. Linda’s dad worked construction many miles away in metro Minneapolis and St. Paul, requiring her mom and the six children to keep the farm running while he was absent.

Linda was a Catholic school teacher for 23 years. She later worked as a substitute teacher. She ended her career working early childhood with infants, toddlers and preschoolers.

Linda is married to her “wonderful man,” Patrick O’Donnell.  He has been a strong influence in her life, helping her overcome much heartache and supporting her walk toward becoming a better person.  She is the mother of 2 adult daughters, the stepmother of Pat’s 3 children, and a grandmother to 11 grandchildren.
