We welcome you to the webpage of Cherokee Village, AR Mary, Ark of the Covenant Chapter. These are exciting times that we live in and Magnificat was begun in 1981 for such as time as this. There are now over 100 chapters throughout the United States and its territories and in many foreign countries.

OUR GUEST SPEAKER: Peggy Meitzen
Following an unusual conversion experience at age 9 in our local Methodist Church the Lord led me into the Catholic Charismatic Renewal at the University of Iowa with workshops at a Monastery in Dubuque, IA & at Notre Dame, South Bend Indiana. One of our prayer group members was out of the group at Duke University where the Spirit first fell in the renewal.
I have a Fine Art Degree with the goals of Christian Illustration and teaching.

I married a Texan & a Methodist Minister’s son, Terry Meitzen, a Marine just home from Vietnam. Two years later he collapsed & melted-chemical poisoning & multiple sclerosis. The doctors said he would be dead by 40 We buried him at 70-two years and many miracles ago-three children and 9 grandchildren. One of the hardest things we faced became one of the greatest blessing. We thank God for his beautiful blessing to us of Terry, and for the many blessings to come.

ROSARY BLANKET OF PRAYER
Remember our chapter’s commitment to pray the Rosary on the 15th of each month, joining our sisters in Magnificat for the intentions of a New Pentecost, the Church, Magnificat, Sanctity of Life, Marriage and Family, and World Peace.
