Our Guest Speaker: LISA FLOOD

The Magnificat Chapter of Nashville is excited to announce that our guest speaker for our 5th Breakfast Meal on Nov. 16, 2024, is Lisa Flood.  Jennie Guinn, Founder of Catholic Moms-in-the-Middle, interviewed Lisa Flood on her Podcast(Link here).

Lisa Flood is a cradle Catholic, devoted wife, mom, and prayer warrior who hails from New Orleans. A powerful experience on the Feast of Divine Mercy in 2008 brought three generations of her family back to the Catholic church. Through Ignatian prayer, especially “Lord, Teach Me to Pray,” Lisa deepened her relationship with the Holy Trinity and felt the Blessed Mother’s loving presence. Passionate about encouraging others to embrace the Sacraments and deepen their prayer lives, Lisa shares inspiring stories of how the Divine Mercy message has brought miracles to her family. She has spent the past 15 years in Catholic media, co-hosting Focus Catholic TV and several programs on Catholic Community Radio. Currently, she co-hosts “Faith and Marriage Today” with Jason Angelette on WLAE and YouTube. Lisa and her husband, Herb, are proud parents of three sons and serve as spiritual parents to many.

History of Our Lady of Good Success Chapter

“Hallelujah! Sing to the Lord a new song, a song of praise in the assembly of the faithful.”(Ps: 149:1) We are now ‘officially’ the Magnificat Chapter of Nashville, TN; our local name is Our Lady of Good Success.  This journey to form a Magnificat Chapter in the Diocese of Nashville, TN began in June 2021 with the approval of Bishop Mark Spalding.  With over 100 Magnificat Chapters in the world, Magnificat exists to evangelize and encourage Catholic Christian women in holiness by opening more fully to the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit. As our Blessed Mother brought our Eucharistic Lord in the Visitation, so too, will she as the Spouse of the Holy Spirit, bring her children into the fullness of life in our Crucified Christ’s Love and Mercy, Joy and Peace.
