We welcome you to the webpage of Our Lady of Miracles Chapter in Las Vegas, Nevada.         These are exciting times that we live in, and Magnificat began in 1981 for such a time as this. There are now over 100 Chapters throughout the United States and its territories and in many foreign countries.

Magnificat is an international women’s ministry sanctioned in 2022 by
Archbishop George Leo Thomas, Ph.D., to serve in the Archdiocese of Las Vegas.

Guest Speaker: Janice Charbonnet

Janice Charbonnet was born and raised in Canada. She worked in various public relations positions across the country, ending with a position as PR coordinator for a Canadian politician. In 1996, she felt called to quit her job and serve as a missionary with NET Ministries, traveling with a team across the US, preaching the Gospel to teenagers.

After a life-changing encounter with the writings of Pope John Paul II, the Holy Spirit put a passion deep in her heart for ministering to women. She leads the women’s team for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of New Orleans, leads marriage retreats with her husband, Jean, and loves to draw from her life as a mother of five children when teaching and preaching. She lives outside New Orleans, LA. She preaches freedom in the power of the Holy Spirit! Psalm 18: 20 “He set me free in the open; He rescued me because He loves me.”

Doors open, registration begins at 8:15 am, and the event starts at 9 am.

Ticket Cost: $45 for the Breakfast Meal 

Tickets for priests, deacons, religious brothers, and sisters are complimentary, but you MUST register using the online or Mail-in Form.

Hotel Accommodations

Individuals wishing to make hotel accommodations should call the South Point Hotel & Casino Reservations Department at 866-791-7626 and ask for MAG0808 group rates. The Hotel has a resort fee ($20) per room per night, reduced from $30.  Clark County room tax, currently 13%, will be applied. Airport Shuttle is available – call 866-791-7626 or 702-797-8901. Shuttle reservations are required to be made at least 24 hours prior to arrival.

Prayer Teams

Prayer teams are available following the Meal.
Since the day is designed to speak to the hearts of women, free of distractions, it is respectfully requested that young children not be in attendance

November 8th – Guest Speaker: TBA;   Location: South Point Hotel & Casino (Kathleen Beckman was scheduled but had to cancel due to health reasons. We hope to have her at one of our 2026 Meals.  Please keep her in your prayers).

Remember our Chapter’s commitment to Eucharistic Adoration and to pray the Rosary on the 27th of each month for the intentions of Magnificat, Sanctity of Life, Marriage and Family, and World Peace.

Magnificat is an international women’s ministry sanctioned in 2022 by Archbishop George Leo Thomas, Ph.D., to serve in the Archdiocese of Las Vegas.

Thank you, Archbishop George Leo Thomas, for your approval and spiritual support of this new and spirit-filled women’s ministry.  We are also very thankful to all those who have prayed, fasted, and sacrificed to establish the Las Vegas Magnificat Chapter for 15 years!  It truly is a miracle!  Our Chapter’s Marian Name: Our Lady of Miracles.   Please all continue to pray for us!
