We welcome you to the webpage of Our Lady of Readiness, Lake Charles Chapter of Magnificat in Louisiana. These are exciting times that we live in and Magnificat was begun in 1981 for such as time as this. There are now over 100 chapters throughout the United States and its territories and in many foreign countries.

Guest Speaker: Pat Meche
Patricia Meche grew up in this area and lives in Jennings. She has 4 grown children, 1 daughter and 3 sons. And they have given her 10 adorable grandchildren. Patricia is involved in the Magnificat Ministry as treasure for the Lake Charles Chapter and is the Regional Representative for Region 4. She teaches 5th grade catechism and is on the OCIA team at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. She is an adorer at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church adoration chapel and says the time spent with Jesus in adoration is the best thing she ever signed up for. Patricia is all about family and loves to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and her sisters.
Her prayer is that she will get through this testimony and leave you with something that will help you get closer to Jesus and our Blessed Mother Mary.

Rosary Blanket of Prayer
Remember our chapter’s commitment to pray the Rosary on the 14th of each month, joining our sisters in Magnificat for the intentions of a New Pentecost, the Church, Magnificat, Sanctity of Life, Marriage, Family, and World Peace.
Our Prayer Groups
Is God calling you to be in a Prayer Group? Jesus said “Wherever two or three are gathered in My Name, there I am in their midst.” Our prayer groups are open to all.
Tongues of Fire Prayer Group meets every Thursday, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Family Room, music starts @ 6:30pm and meeting 7:00pm.
