We welcome you to the webpage of Mary Mother of Mercy and Hope Chapter of Magnificat in Tallahassee, Florida. Magnificat, an international ministry to Catholic women, began in 1981 for such a time as this. There are now over 100 chapters throughout the United States and its territories and in many foreign countries.

Joshua 1:9 Behold I command thee, take courage and be strong. Fear not and be not dismayed because the Lord, thy God, is with thee in all things whatsoever thou shalt go to. 

Jenny will share her surrender story. She and her husband Jeff married in October 2001. They have been blessed with six children—two girls and 4 boys. Jenny was raised Catholic and has remained Catholic all her life. She is a devoted wife and mother. As a child, she fell ill with leukemia, and now as an adult, has a benign brain tumor on her brain stem. These and other trials have led Jenny to a peaceful surrender and deeper relationship with God, and she continually grows in her faith.

Join us for breakfast, fellowship, praise & worship music, intercessory prayer and Jenny’s powerful and inspirational testimony.

Rosary Blanket of Prayer

Our Chapter is assigned the 18th of the month.
The Magnificat Ministry sponsors a Rosary Blanket of Prayer in response to our Holy Father’s call to prayer. Each Chapter is assigned one day of the month for concentrated prayer, fasting, Eucharistic Adoration, Rosary, etc. Of course, we are called to pray daily, but this day should be especially designated. It can be done individually and collectively, as possible. Magnificat women and others who care to join us are invited to take part in this concerted effort. The general intentions are for a New Pentecost, the Church, Magnificat, the sanctity of life, marriage & family, and world peace.

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my savior. Luke 1:46-47
