We welcome you to the webpage of the Handmaids of the Lord Chapter of Magnificat in Broward County, Florida. These are exciting times that we live in and Magnificat was begun in 1981 for such as time as this. There are now over 100 chapters throughout the United States and its territories and in many foreign countries.

Guest Speaker: Rev. Dr. Santhosh Thomas
Fr. Thomas is a dynamic and accomplished Catholic priest with extensive experience in pastoral ministry, education, and ecclesiastical administration. Ordained in 2011, Fr. Thomas served in various leadership roles across India and the United States, currently ministering as Pastor of St. Mary’s Malankara Catholic Church in Hollywood, Florida and Chaplain at Catholic Health Services, including St. John’s Nursing Center and St. Anthony’s Rehabilitation Hospital.
Fr. Thomas holds a PhD in Defense and Strategic Studies with a focus on Effective Communication, along with a Masters Degree in Business Administration Communication and Journalism. He has earned Bachelors degrees in Education, Theology, and Philosophy as well as a certification in Learning Disability Management. His pastoral leadership spans well over a decade, including serving as Protopresbyter and Pastor in multiple parishes across India. Fr. Thomas has significant academic and practical experience in Theatre Arts and enjoys spending his leisure time writing screenplays.
