Our Guest Speaker: Janette Howe

The Magnificat Chapter of Nashville is excited to announce that our guest speaker for our 6th Breakfast Meal on March 22, 2025, is Janette Howe.

Janette Howe was raised and educated in a solidly Catholic family.  College life, then her work-a-day world and the unexpected death of her father, collectively moved her away from the ways of the Faith.  An advancing, enlivening career and friends who loved the good life became her idols.  Janette experienced a singular grace in the presence of Our Eucharistic Lord which jolted her to pursue a path of inquiry, then an eventual return to the sacramental life of the Catholic Church.  Her heart was fully captured by authentic Beauty, Goodness and Truth Himself.  Janette was moved to believe that if each person becomes aware of the real Presence of Our Lord in the Eucharist, each would be converted – and the world with it.   In the Year of the Eucharist (2005) she initiated an Apostolate, Truth Himself, that sends daily Eucharistic reflections via email.  It continues to minister to hundreds of daily viewers, with reports of many conversions.  In 2010 Janette began to more intentionally pray for her pastor through offering a weekly Holy Hour.  Within roughly nine months, an inspiration was received during prayer which broadened the idea to include others.  In 2011 Seven Sisters Apostolate was initiated whose mission is seamless daily dedicated Holy Hours for priests through groups of seven (at least) intercessors.   Still in its infancy, its practice now has a widening international influence.  Only in the tender and generous love of God would Janette’s family be blessed with a son called to the altar as a priest in 2013.  How marvelous are God’s plans!  In Him alone can one boast!

.In Christ’s Love,

The Magnificat Chapter of Nashville Team

History of Our Lady of Good Success Chapter

“Hallelujah! Sing to the Lord a new song, a song of praise in the assembly of the faithful.”(Ps: 149:1) We are now ‘officially’ the Magnificat Chapter of Nashville, TN; our local name is Our Lady of Good Success.  This journey to form a Magnificat Chapter in the Diocese of Nashville, TN began in June 2021 with the approval of Bishop Mark Spalding.  With over 100 Magnificat Chapters in the world, Magnificat exists to evangelize and encourage Catholic Christian women in holiness by opening more fully to the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit. As our Blessed Mother brought our Eucharistic Lord in the Visitation, so too, will she as the Spouse of the Holy Spirit, bring her children into the fullness of life in our Crucified Christ’s Love and Mercy, Joy and Peace.

My Service team and I are so looking forward to seeing you at our next Magnificat Meal on November 16, 2024   ~ Rosemary, Coordinator
