We welcome you to the webpage of Our Lady of Divine Providence Chapter of Magnificat in Providence, Rhode Island. These are exciting times that we live in and Magnificat was begun in 1981 for such as time as this. There are now over 100 chapters throughout the United States and its territories and in many foreign countries.

| We had a wonderful Meal on Saturday November 22, 2025 with guest speakers DON and PAT TURBITT … Don and Pat Trubitt embraced our Lord and has prayed, taught and evangelized with others throughout the world for the last 55 years of Ministry. This exceptional couple are married for 63 years and are parents of 3 children, 13 grandchildren and great grandparents to 6 boys. They are lifelong residents of Rhode Island and Parishioners of St. Philip Church. For over 55 years, they have been leaders in the Charismatic Renewal as well as National and International Speakers. Pat is the Pastoral Women’s Leader of People of God’s Love with Don’s leadership for over 20 years here at St. Philips and have a weekly prayer meeting. Pat was also the former Co-Ordinator of Magnificat RI Chapter and has organized and directed many retreats and pilgrimages. Don is the Founder and Director of the Men of St. Joseph International. They both have been a part of the Renewal Ministries bringing the gospel message to over 26 countries especially in Eastern Europe. In 2013 Pat and Don received the first Lumen Gentian Award for Evangelization in the Diocese of Providence. |

Rosary Blanket of Prayer
Remember our chapter’s commitment to pray the Rosary on the 16th of each month, joining our sisters in Magnificat for the intentions of a New Pentecost, the Church, Magnificat, Sanctity of Life, Marriage and Family, and World Peace.
Our Prayer Groups
Is God calling you to be in a Prayer Group? Jesus said, “Wherever two or three are gathered in My Name, there I am in their midst.” Our prayer groups are open to all.
Personal Prayer Ministry which prays with individuals following The Magnificat Breakfast.
