Lisa Cooley: Coordinator of the Providence Diocesan Office of Life and Family. Lisa was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. She met her husband Michael while attending college in Dallas, Texas and has two children. In 2007 she moved to Rhode Island with her family as a result of her husband’s job transfer. She and her family are parishioners of Our Lady of Mercy Church in East Greenwich, RI. Her strong Irish Catholic Faith was instilled in early childhood by her mother, and as an at home mom raising children, she was devout in prayer/rosary and had a great love of books & reading scripture. One of her favorite Bible passages is Psalm 23:1-4. She has always had a passion for life and the family since her college days where she earned a degree in Dietetics and upon graduation worked with the WIC program helping mothers and babies. For the last seven years she has worked for the Diocesan Office of Life and Family, protecting life, supporting pregnant women in need, providing outreach and healing for post abortion, counseling and support groups for divorced and widowed. Lisa has spoken at many groups & parishes throughout the state over the past few years and we are blessed as she shares her spirit filled very busy life
Prayer teams are available following the meal.
Religious books and CD’s may be available at the meal.
Since the day is designed to speak to the hearts of women, free of distractions, it is respectfully requested that young children not be in attendance.
