Claire, our speaker, has been married to Vincent Lemoine for 29 years. They live in Marksville, Louisiana. She is mother to three daughters with one son-in-law and with a granddaughter on the way.
She was born and raised in Moreauville. At age 17 moved to Baton Rouge where she lived for 13 years, before returning home to Marksville where Claire continued her career as a nurse…and for the past 25 years, working in the maternal/child field.
After working 21 years between a hospital setting and a home setting caring for pregnant mothers, the Lord called Claire into a different ministry. Since September 2017 she has had the honor of working in a pro-life, Christian pregnancy crisis center. This work has brought her to a new level of faith in God’s providence and trusting in HIS plan, not her own…
Claire was born and raised Catholic, but really had an AWAKENING of her spiritual life in Oct. 2005, after going to a study on the Catholic faith offered by the diocese of Alexandria, something she had never done before.
She learned things about the Catholic faith that left her hungry for more. She attended retreats and went to conferences for the first time in her life and learned to love the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the Eucharist. This was a turning point in her life, where the faith was really made ALIVE and REAL to her.
That hunger to learn more, pray more, and serve God more continues today and Claire is honored to share her story with all of you.
Prayer ministry is available after the meal.
Since the day is designed to speak to the hearts of women, free of distractions, it is respectfully requested that young children under the age of 14 not be in attendance.

HISTORY of CENLA Magnificat
CENLA Magnificat was born out of Sue Dauzat’s desire to bring to the women of Central Louisiana the opportunity to meet together, minister to each other and to evangelize their friends. CENLA Magnificat serves the women of Central Louisiana (CENLA). “Our Lady of Prompt Succor” was added to our “official” title in 2012.
CENLA Magnificat held its first gathering on June 3, 2000. After ten years serving the women of the Diocese of Alexandria, we were “on hold” for two years but in 2012 we re-activated! The meals are held in Natchitoches, La. and in Avoyelles Parish – the Service Team felt that moving the location offers the people in the areas a better opportunity to attend. Our Diocese extends from the Mississippi River to the Sabine River — all of Central Louisiana (CENLA): comprising 13 civil parishes in Central Louisiana: Natchitoches, Winn, Caldwell, Franklin, Madison, Vernon, Rapides, Grant, LaSalle, Catahoula, Tensas, Concordia and Avoyelles. The land area of the diocese is roughly 11,108 square miles.
CENLA Magnificat partners with the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Central Louisiana (CCRC) for other events each year.
If you are in our area, we invite you to join us for our Meals or events!
